Services Offered

All of our services include lifetime phone and email support so you can have the relationship you want with your dog.

Lifetime Trainer Support for the Doggie Boot Camp where owner-training is included as long as you have your dog.

On-leash Obedience Mastery is a primer for off-leash training, elimination of unwanted behaviors, and dog social skills in a series of lessons over 6 months.

Off-leash Obedience Mastery for the relationship you really want with your dog is a series of lessons over 6 months.

Doggie Boot Camps and Finishing School is perfect for problem behaviors, puppies, and creating a strong foundation for advanced training.

Behavioral Consultations to help determine the best training options for you and your dog and and to highlight solutions for unwanted behavior problems. $199 consultation fee will be applied to any dog training program offered by Balanced Obedience.

IN-HOME TRAINING

I will come to you and teach you and your dog basic obedience and discuss any behavior issues your dog has and what is the best training methods for your dog's age, breed, and temperament.

I have a dog training gift and can train dogs their basic obedience in a single lesson and off-leash training in a few lessons. I will spend the time to ensure you have the training results you want. I will teach you how to be the pack leader in your dog's eyes and give you a lesson plan that will only take minutes out of your day.

Training on outer-islands is available.

DOGGIE BOOT CAMP AND FINISHING SCHOOL

For the two or three week Doggie Boot Camp, I train your dog in my home and socialize it with other animals, which is great for people who would like their dog to improve while they are away on vacation. This training is especially good for dogs that have serious behavior issues, need intensive training or require socialization.

Boot camp is especially effective because a dog in training learns from trained and well-behaved dogs the desired manners and obedience.

Dogs love boot camp as they get to socialize with nice dogs and learn to respect and enjoy other animals. Boot camp also includes trips to the beach, hikes, and jogging if applicable.

Unacceptable behaviors that can be addressed through boot camp include: potty training; excessive barking; jumping up; digging; hyperactivity; and separation anxiety.

Aside from unlimited phone and email consultations for as long as you have your dog, I will also continue to personally train you to be an effective dog trainer as you may need.

Dogs that go through the doggie boot camp or finishing school are eligible to return to the farm for continued training at a reduced rate.

Free airport pick-up and delivery with an in-home lesson for outer-island and mainland clients.

Doggie Boot camp is learning, fun, and friends.

Balanced Obedience and a lovely group of 3 German Shepherds and a Japanese Spitz enjoyed socializing and walking up to the Makapu`u Lighthouse lookout.

Here is a picture of my dog Jazmine helping to socialize an anti-social chihuahua. After 3 lessons this little beauty went from shaking and barking at other dogs and visitors to being calm, obedient, sociable and able to visit a dog park.
